The unique moment was captured by Karen van der Kolk, a 45-year-old photographer, during her visit to Kruger National Park, South Africa, on 17 July. The pictures of the funny sequence show
the turtles climb on the hippopotamus’ back until it comes out of the water and begins to shake them.
The photographer said that the scene was so funny and we stayed all morning.
